Hey Everyone.

Sold another house! I just love the feeling of writting up an offer and waiting to hear if it was accepted or not. This time was a little more scary as we were in a multiple offer situation (competing offers....) and we won! HURRAY! It sure does feel good to sell a house :)

Spring is finally here and I am so excited. Lexis and Libby love running around the backyard and chasing each other. They sure are best friends! I am glad that we were able to put grass down last fall, it sure would be muddy cleaning paws everytime Lex came inside. One more thing that we don't have to think about this spring. I am very excited to plant some flowers and trees in the backyard. James stained the deck last weekend, so that is taken care of. Spring gets me very excited because Summer is my FAVORITE season of the year!

My best friend, Lyn, is coming home for Easter next weekend. I am looking forward to catching up with her on Friday. On Saturday and Sunday we are heading up to Outlook to see James' family for Easter. I sure hope that the Easter bunny will find us there! Each year James' parent's church puts on an Easter cantata (did I spell that right???). One year Jesus appeared at the end (okay, not really Jesus himself... haha) with a newborn lamb!! I almost died right there in my seat because that little lamb was the cutest thing I had ever seen!!! It made the cutest noise too. (Ellie, do you have baby lambs at your farm this spring??).

I love how you are all excited to see what is going to happen in 3 weeks. I love hearing what you guys think it is, too funny!

Love,
Melissa

Not too much new....

I am finally getting the chance to sit down and think! I have been on the go for the past 2 weeks and I just want to have a nap. My job is really going well, I have already sold a condo and tonight I am showing 4 more houses. It takes awhile to adjust to the evenings and weekend work, since I have been 8-5 for the past year! Sometimes I just do not feel like going out after supper! But I just have to remind myself that when I go out, there is a possibility of making GOOD MONEY!

I bought a new computer the other day, well James bought me one. A really cute HP Media centre laptop. It was the cutest one in the store so I am very happy to have it. I was so excited to use it yesterday but James spent the whole day on it trying to find a new car to buy. I just wanted to use my new computer!!

Seriously, I don't have much to write on. But I promise in about 3 weeks I will be typing a lot more! Just have a lot on my mind right now, so bare with me about 3 or so weeks and I will fill you all in on what is happening in my life now.

I will try to keep you updated as exciting things happen.

Until then,

Melissa

Who am I?

Ever been asked to describe yourself in 2 sentences?

I have always had trouble finding out who I am, and it seemed like I would always change my personality based on who was around me. But over the past year I have become comfortable with who I am and who I am becoming. I am proud to be me, it is exciting to be me.
Thank you God for making me special...

Who am I?

"I have big dreams and high goals for my life, and I plan on reaching all of them one day.
I am a straight forward and transparent person, but that's what makes me unique."
Who are YOU?

I am still Alive

I have had such a busy week!!! I have not had the chance to sit down and just blog about nothing. Oh how I have missed pouring out my thoughts. Now James is in bed, after a long day of work, and once again on a Monday night I can not sleep. We never go to bed together on a Monday, it's the only night where we fall asleep apart.

This past week has been filled with doing stuff for my real estate career. I did pass my final exam, with a 95%. Today I got my picture taken for my business cards too. I have also set up a website for my clients, etc. (mcculloughhomes.ca, although I have not edited it...). I am really looking forward to getting started and jumping in 100%.

At the end of most days I am so tired I can hardly keep my eyes open, except for Mondays. I come home from work and I am just so exhausted but I didn't do anything too tiring all day... what is wrong with me? One exciting thing is that the time has changed for the rest of the world. This means that my parents are only 1 hour behind and my best friend is now on the same time as me. This makes life so much easier! Plus, it is getting bright early and staying light outside longer. This means that spring is in the air!!!

Another sign of spring is all the crap that becomes noticeable in my backyard. Yes, it is very disgusting!!! Every year I think it would be so much easier to just pick up Lexis' poop when she poops, but who am I kidding?? I am not going outside in minus 40 weather! And every year I have to face the wrath of spring and see 4 months of crap appear on my lawn. GROSS! If only I could hire someone to come and clean it all up..... any takers?

Not much else is new around here.... so I think I will try and hit the sack with James, if he is not sprawled out on my side of the bed. I hate being the last one to crawl into bed because not only do I have to tell James to move but I also have to move Lexis around too. And I don't mind making James move, but Lexis is just so dang cute when she is sleeping that I feel bad!

Well, off to bed I go!

Love,
Melissa

I am home! I can hardly believe it! I rolled into Regina at around 8:30 pm and am now waiting to pick James up at the airport but he doesn't get home until 11:00 pm (the poor guy had to be at the airport at 5:00 am this morning too!!!). Our trip was amazing. I have posted some pictures, but I have a lot more since I took 103 pictures!!! HAHA! I am just going to post the pictures and not write much. I will fill you all in on our adventures later.

Good Night!
Love,
Melissa
